What is Yacon Syrup?

Extracted from the roots of the yacon plant, yacon syrup is 50% made up of ‘fructooligosaccharides’ (FOS) which is a prebiotic and is the richest available source of FOS. It is a non-digestible fibre that feeds the probiotics and aids the growth of food bacteria in the gut including lactobacillus and bifidobacteria.
